Set of 10 horsehair bottle brushes, wooden bottle brushes with natural bristles and long 29 cm handles

We are pleased to offer you our natural dish brush produced in the Black Forest. The brush is made of certified beechwood and horsehair bristles. Due to the elastic and flexible properties of horsehair, the brush head is extremely durable.

An ergonomically shaped extra-long 29.0cm handle provides a good feel when cleaning the dishes. To dry, the dish brush can be hung on the practical hanger.

Antibacterial effect of wood: As early as 1994, the Food Safety Laboratory of the University of Wisconsin found that wood kills bacteria. They described wood as one of the most hygienic materials of all. The reason for this is its natural ingredients (polyphenols) as well as the hygroscopic (moisture-attracting) property of the wood. This removes the moisture from the bacteria that they need to survive. Even bacteria that retreat into the interior of the wooden board cannot thus multiply. They die off. This antibacterial effect remains even with repeated bacterial introduction. These findings are also confirmed by the Federal Biological Research Institute for Agriculture and Forestry (BBA) and the German Institute for Food Technology e.V. Source: Bavarian State Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Forestry
