Premium wooden grill brush, made of unpainted beechwood with brass and fiber bristles. Two-zone bristle arrangement.

Two rows of tightly packed wavy brass wire and three rows of fiber bristles ensure perfect grill cleaning. Brass brushes have a clear advantage over conventional twisted wire grill brushes. No extra effort is required here—no strenuous scrubbing! If more intensive cleaning is occasionally necessary, the brush also features a pointed tip and sharp edges that can be used to remove stubborn dirt. Thanks to its wavy shape, the grill brush fits comfortably in the hand. A practical hanging hook is attached to the product.

Antibacterial properties of wood:

As early as 1994, the Food Safety Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin found that wood kills bacteria. It described wood as one of the most hygienic materials available. This is due to its natural compounds (polyphenols) and the hygroscopic (moisture-absorbing) properties of wood. This removes the moisture that bacteria need to survive. Bacteria that retreat into the interior of the wooden board are also unable to multiply. They die. This antibacterial effect persists even with repeated bacterial exposure. These findings are also confirmed by the Federal Research Institute for Agriculture and Forestry (BBA) and the German Institute for Food Technology e.V.
